We got to take a closer look at the KENZO x H&M collection at the preview in the H&M Shoroom. When we first saw the campaign pictures we felt like there are so many different colours and patterns that it was almost a bit too wild. We found it hard to imagine wearing any of these pieces in real life.
When we saw the collection at the showroom this impression immediately changed, the patterns and colours are still very wild and impressive but the attention to the little details is absolutely incredible.

When you look at the pieces one by one it is not too much at all and you can combine one piece of the collection with simple clothes to create a beautiful look.
What we think is wonderful is that many of the pieces from the collection are reinterpretations of important creations from the KENZO archives.
From the long dress (in the middle of the first picture) there were originally only two pieces created and it is an incredible luck that it was re-created for the H&M collaboration.

These are some of our favourite pieces from the collection.

A beautiful oversized silk dress, we think the combination of the floral and the grid pattern creates a lovely contrast and the little floral buttons are a beautiful detail.

This dress contains almost all the patterns that you can find in the H&M x KENZO collection. Even though it is very wild, we think it still has a beautiful harmony and we really like the colours and the cut of the dress.

These two pieces are our favourite pieces from the Men's collection. The jacket on the left is reversible and can be worn both ways, we love the military green and also the pattern, for us it is a unisex piece that can be worn by both men and women and it is very versatile. The symbols and also the logo on the shirt shirt are made from little beads.

The collection will be available from the 3rd November 2016 online and in selected stores only.
